She enjoys spending her free time with her family. She also loves to do genealogy, scrapbooking, photography, and reading.
Judy Shank - As an involved member of the rural communities of Kingston, Dalton and Markesan, Judy has long been aware of the difficulty in accessing medical care close to home, particularly for the Amish community. She currently serves as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Southern Green Lake County Ambulance Service that provides coverage for the Kingston, Dalton and Markesan communities. She is also very involved in her church and served as a member of the Terrace Shores Medical Mission Team to Central America in 2006. For 2 years she also served as a midwife assistant with the midwife service that cares for the majority of the Amish population in the area. Her background includes a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, over 10 years in hospital administration, 12 years in education, and over 20 years in non-profit business settings. She brings a unique combination of medical, non-profit work, education, faith and a deep personal conviction for caring and compassion for her neighbors and community.
